Using Heart rate monitoring to help with pacing.

Using Heart rate monitoring to help with pacing.

Visible is based on the workwell foundation HRM advice. The heart rate zones they use can be customised if you don’t like the ones they suggest to you.

Are gallbladder problems a common secondary symptom in ME/CFS ?

Well slow digestive transit would be a possible “link” to ME as many people have issues with that as they become more severe.

Are gallbladder problems a common secondary symptom in ME/CFS ?

Apparently slow digestive transit can lead to gallstones. They can be linked to cholesterol too, which can be genetic as well (healthy people can have high cholesterol despite good diet). It’s possible to get them if you’re slim, it’s just a higher risk/more likely if you’re overweight etc.

The ELAROS NHS digital system for patient/clinician digital sharing questionnaire data, includes Yorkshire Rehab. Scale and Open-OH app

It’s tne turn of phrasing, she means it would be ok if they talked about it saying it’s problematic or asked about feedback, but they haven’t.

The ELAROS NHS digital system for patient/clinician digital sharing questionnaire data, includes Yorkshire Rehab. Scale and Open-OH app

It’s like that “amaZen” booth all over again! We’ve helped you, if you’re still not well then it’s a “you” problem (ignores the oppressive environment the worker is in, because a “solution” has been provided, shifting the problem away and putting it on the individual)

The ELAROS NHS digital system for patient/clinician digital sharing questionnaire data, includes Yorkshire Rehab. Scale and Open-OH app

So the Yorkshire Rehab Scale which this app uses, is a PROM. why does everyone want outcomes from us, but nobody is prepared to put input to us?

It’s ok they just keep **commenting** that they’re not promoting this, they’re just publicising the opportunity The MEA seems determined to repeatedly kick itself in the head lately.

And a bonfire in the comments. Here are a selection of people mainly saying “I don’t want the DWP to have this info/Visible exists, why bother making another app” also a long comment which is very informative about the LC platform already being run and that it’s not taking PEM into account...

How to talk about stress without implying psychosomatic illness

I think the word “stress” is too loaded with connotations. Could you explain your position using terms like “sensory overload” regarding noise, light, conversations etc and also the “mental load” of monitoring yourself, identifying triggers or overload, dealing with them, recovering from them...

Q: Does ME/CFS change rate of caffeine metabolism?

Not a scientific answer. I gave up all caffeine for a few years as recommended by P D White. All caffiene, so no chocolate, cola, the lot. I didn’t notice any positive difference (and I was miserable) so I took it up again. I find it hard to get going in the morning, I take 100mg caffeine with...

Shouldn’t have done it in full view of people with eyes, in public places then. Whilst being on national telly complaining about being so unwell.
