All so they can have careers, feel special, and avoid having to admit they got nothing.
Not to mention their recklessness.
As to Wessely being a little more cautious, it has only taken him nigh on 40 years. Which is, you know, waaaaaay too late.
That is exactly what they are doing, and have been for some time.
The rest of medicine, and the broader governance structure, need to wake the hell up to it and stop them.
