A fundraiser has been set up in memory of Graham, our much loved member who passed away recently. See this members only thread.

The fundraiser was set up by Graham's family. (edited to clarify this)

The chosen charities are the ME Association, Invest in ME Research, and ME Research UK.

    Donations

Online donations can be made here: https://grahammcphee.muchloved.com/Donate
Alternatively cheques can be made out to either of the charities and posted to: Tester & Jones, London Road, Crowborough, East Sussex, TN6 2TT

I tried to donate but my payment was declined twice. I suspect from the form the reason might be that I'm not from the UK – does anybody know more?

Alternatively I can donate to one of the charities directly.

ETA: This fundraiser is a wonderful idea, thank you to Graham's family.

With the funeral not until the 8th November, my guess would be until then, but obviously Ian could answer for certain.

I had a look on the main site, https://www.muchloved.com/gateway/tribute-fundraising/, and can't see any obvious reason why you are unable to donate unfortunately. The easiest option might be, as you suggest, is to just donate direct.

Thank you so so much everyone, we were amazed to see the amount when I looked today!

@Joh & @Sean I will ask the funeral directors who set it up for us about your queries and get back to you.

The funeral directors have got back to me, and they usually total it up including any cheque donations 6 to 8 weeks after the funeral, but the donation link can stay up as long as needed.

    Thank you, @IanMcPhee

Only reason I ask is because the overlapping Tuller donation drive is probably currently hoovering up some available funds. Certainly is for me.

But that drive ends in 3 days, so next payday (11th Nov) I can send a bit to your Dad's fund too.

The same for me. I am waiting till after David’s crowd funding is ended to decide what I can afford.

    Now up to £3,048.75!

I would rather we still had Graham though.
