"In October, another study was published in the international online journal Plos One , which confirms that the cellular bioenergetics of patients with myalgic encephalomyelitis is impaired. Myalgic encephalomyelitis, ME for short, is often titled with the trivializing name CFS or chronic fatigue syndrome. In Germany, 300,000 people are affected, of which 75,000 are nursing cases. The disease is incurable and the consequences can lead to death. More about ME can be read here."
