Didn't someone contact Berkeley about Dr Tuller?

I declare this can of worms open.

Many thanks to professor Sharpe, truly the master of self-owns and Michael Sharpe's biggest (unwitting) critic and foe.

Sharpe tweeted to Hilda Bastian that he wanted to offer her assumptions.

I don't know how you offer someone assumptions. I don't think that's a thing. But it does seem to fit the pattern. That's probably asking too much of Bastian but I hope we find out eventually how someone offers assumptions and what those are.

I think we should probably take every accusation as a confession. They sure do whine a lot, that one is definitely confirmed.

    Bristol University, yes.

More than once, and vice-chancellor to chancellor is just excessive. If that's not harassment...

Given their bizarre claims of "borderline psychopaths" and attempting to mislead a tribunal, I'm sure there are interesting letters coming from QMUL as well.

Thank you to ME/CFS News for initiating this, and thank you to all who are contributing.

I am too ill ATM to contribute properly but would like to suggest to choose another title for this ME-pedia page.

To me, these are no doubt attempts to intimidate PACE critics. But I think it would be good to strengthen the point that those who speak out didn't and won't let themselves be intimidated on the long run. (Edit: I am aware some really were intimidated).

I don't have a better wording at hand, but perhaps something like "Behind the scenes activities aimed at silencing PACE critics" ?

Another word for "behind the scenes"?

My, that's a pretty long pattern of intimidation from Mr Knight.

That one is a bit more on the bizarre side but... human rights? The victim complex is so dense it risks collapsing into a black hole any minute now.

Given the pace (pun intended) of complaints, you'd almost think they have staff dedicated to sending complaints and intimidating critics. That seems like way too much work for a busy professional.

    Completely abnormal and puzzling:

It's not even particularly inventive of MS et al. They are taking things we have said such as human rights abuses and just throwing it back at us. It's reminiscent of school ground tactics.

Michael Sharpe is: International man of self-owns

From Dr Keith Geraghty, this morning:

“For the record this morning, after I published articles that were critical of the PACE trial, two of the PACE authors W&S lodged complaints about me and my work to my host University. Emails and phone calls to ones bosses is very intimidating.”

You can directly paste Twitter links directly in the text editor. The forum code handles the rest.
