    Measuring Activity Patterns

Smoking, shift work and “other variables”. Perhaps I am missing something but considering the type of cancer, might diet not have had an influence? I do not understand how because they have found a correlation between two things they can suggest a causal link.

United Kingdom: News from #There for ME

7.15 am - 7.30am. Dr Binita Kane was on the sofa and Dr Weir spoke remotely. There was a film interview with a patient who was once an athlete (rower) and someone whose husband is very severely affected (I think she may have been the person I heard on the LBC phone in.) Despite wincing at...

UK BBC News: Shrewsbury maternity scandal: Repeated failures led to deaths, 2022

Currently (half) listening to a radio phone-in (UK) discussing women’s experiences of maternity services following an inquiry into birth trauma. Some horrendous experiences. The one thing that stood out for me was that patients were not listened to - for example when describing their level of...

    UK Parliament: Westminster Hall debate on ME/CFS, Wednesday 1st May 2024, 16.30 - 17.30

The minister is Andrew Stephenson and he has only been in post since last November. I wonder if part of the problem is the constant change in departments for ministers. Not sure who the previous minister was but I do remember Steve Brine being the minister who replied to a previous debate a...
