I have poor hearing. I also have blocked ears, intermittently but frequently. Often it feels like I'm underwater. I saw an ENT doctor last year. He told me this feeling of blocked ears was because I knew I was deaf and so my brain "decided" that my ears must be blocked. The GP who referred me to...
The most astonishing part of this thread for me is this bit from the quote in post #1.
I'm gobsmacked that there is sufficient material for all this filming.
Going off at a tangent...
This is the kind of fake food that worries me that I will avoid at any cost :

It was the reference to Gulf War Illness occurring in people who were overweight. But I'm sure many veterans, with or without Gulf War Illness, are overweight. If the Powers-That-Be can blame the people suffering from GWI for their own problems because they are overweight it takes the pressure...
I'm very suspicious of research done using mice where the factor being studied is related to diet in some way. Until I just read it in wikipedia I wasn't aware that mice are herbivores when they have a choice of food available, although they will often eat as omnivores if they have no choice...
Off-topic for the thread... My husband and I got a puppy nearly 20 years ago. One day we were walking her in the local park when she was still very young - probably three months or less. She jumped through a wire fence which was sagging and broken and in a freak accident she got caught up in it...
I answered Yes, because I've startled easily for as long as I can remember. I think in my case a major contributory factor in later life has been my very poor hearing. I rarely get any advance warning that someone has walked up behind me because I don't hear them.

Your reddit link doesn't work for me as it stands, but it does if the excess / is removed from the end. I end up here when I do that :

What does a "normal" trigger warning look like? I've seen a few...
So, if I understand what the authors are saying... Some children get poorly treated and abused during childhood by parents or "care" givers and this increases the risk of them having various health problems later in life. The authors have decided that suffering these conditions is a mental...

This is a blog post - a very long one.

Your diagram shows that 5 of the subjective outcome results weren't even statistically significant. Non-significant results are shown where the red horizontal lines cross the dashed vertical line.
My list of possible life stressors was not intended to be a complete one, by any stretch of the imagination, and I made no claims that my list was complete. Regarding tribal living, I have no knowledge or experience of tribal lifestyles so would quickly come unstuck if I had mentioned them and...
It was prolonged fasting I was thinking of. I already restrict my eating to mid-afternoon up until about 8pm and after that I only drink tea or water - this isn't for health reasons it is just how I've eaten for many, many years. I'm still fat and getting fatter. :(
