This is the username that will be shown with all your messages. Many people use a pseudonym rather than their actual name. Your username can contain letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, and hyphens.

Please do not choose a username that suggests an association with a company or website that offers commercial products or services or a name that suggests a special role or status in the ME world. If you represent a charity or research group you can use a name that suggests this but please use an official email address so we can verify your identity.

Once set, your username can only be changed in exceptional circumstances.
