I have to be the contrarian. My ME causes problems with sleep that are less after exertion. Exhaustion overrides it.
Shouldn't an epidemiologist be smarter than that? Maybe the psychiatrist part is overriding the epidemiologist part.

My ME caused delayed sleep phase. The melatonin I took to try to fix that caused the inverted sleep. :grumpy:
As has already been stated, TSH means very little. Read up on T3 and reverse T3. Find someone who will test them. Here are some sites I looked...

Wouldn't a person's mitochondrial DNA stay the same throughout their life? That would not explain sudden onset ME.
Years ago, I was diagnosed with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. I don't remember what the treatment was. IIRC, my doctor thought it was ME related.
