I second the value of an app tracking symptoms, and that includes passively (heart, sleep) as well as optional personal recordings of symptoms, activities, FUNCAP.
These apps will be cheaper than running a service so they’re a shoo-in. Digital NHS cutting edge ways to keep patients at bay and...
I’m sorry I’m so foggy, did we ever get clarity on the difference between the two apps?
I think I was part of the early assumptions that all mentions of Elaros/MEA “not endorsing” but publicising beta test of app/Tyson & PROMs were one app.
So there are two apps?
We were basically right in the...
An update on Karen via the petition and posted by the MEA who have said Charles Shepherd is in contact with the family and hospital.
Karen has been told the hospital is preparing to take a legal case and there is also likely another mental capacity assessment...
My recent one they stated “face to face isn’t necessary as paper-based evidence is more useful” or something. I’ve never had a PIP face to face. I think they just have too many to assess/quicker and easier to not bother.
I saw a recommendation on here for Charlie Anderson on YouTube, I found her very helpful as well as using the Benefits and Work guides.
It’s just such a lot of work.
Ok well it is relevant because they are quite forthright about this app, and not about the Elaros one. Also they talk about what they fund, making zero reference to the PROMs they funded.
It’s also badly written and badly set out making it hard to follow.
It’s like chatGPT, except that makes more sense.
Maybe it was written “by committee” it’s just very unclear. Worst group project ever!
Although compare it with the responses about Elaros, the app they are somewhat involved in. Or aren't, I can’t really tell.
Weird wasn’t it? I was too tired to write properly. But also this rebuke needs comparing to what is being produced with Elaros IMO (I’d offer but I’m too tired. Perhaps if insomnia descends later)
Discussion moved from the Elaros thread
Interesting about the ASA and MEA and an app

Given that bullying and discrimination are ACE’s, it seems curious that Black and Asian groups were less likely to have the long Covid, yet would be more “at risk” of ACEs.
Or to put it another way, this study is a load of old tosh.
Specifically which ACE’s? They’re not all equal. You can’t say...
Funny, I’d have bet his middle name starting with A as being a reason for adding “woof” to his twitter handle, so many men on Twitter feminise their first name by adding their middle initial “a” I guess he didn’t want to be PaulAGarner
Maybe it’s a family name, it’s from the etymological root of wulf. Or maybe he thinks he’s a wolf. Or a dog. Who knew this would be the most fascinating thing about his X’s/tweets whatever they are.
