Heightened innate immunity may trigger chronic inflammation, fatigue and [PEM]…, 2025, Che, Hornig, Bateman, Klimas, Komaroff, Lipkin+

Can anyone interpret what the findings of copper mean? I hate to be that guy(trying to make the paper about n=1), but my personal testing has shown low or borderline low copper levels consistently.

Review Redefining Mitochondrial Therapy for ME/CFS: The Case for MOTS-c, 2025, Klimas et al

I saw a push for MOTS-C and SS-31 on twitter a few months ago. I wonder if this fits with the timing. Or someone capitalizing on a new patient population to sell too? I for one and scared to death of buying random peptides from labs in China. I can’t imagine injecting these without real GMP...

These guys offered to test twins, and use twin as control? Is this anything?

Twin with ME/CFS wants to be a research subject

I think most ppl think of identical when saying “twins” in conversation. I’ve always referred to the two egg as fraternal twins.

Twin with ME/CFS wants to be a research subject

Damn l can’t message him on twitter without him following me or paying Elon for twitter premium(not doing that). Looks like he got some leads, I’d love to get in contact with him. Hopefully he sees this thread somehow Edit: @Jaybee00 are you the twitter OP? Aka Jacob, or just posting for him

Twin with ME/CFS wants to be a research subject

I am also an identical twin. Diagnosed with ME/CFS via the Canadian Consensus Criteria in Canada. Brother is healthy, never thought this might be of value but both of us are happy to donate blood etc if there is value

Trial Report Plasma cell targeting with the anti-CD38 antibody daratumumab in ME/CFS -a clinical pilot study, 2025, Fluge et al

I wonder if a collaboration with Visible and using their pace points metric would be more “real”. I find the pace points more accurate as it includes not moving strain, showering, cooking, etc…

Trial Report Low Dose Rapamycin Alleviates Clinical Symptoms of Fatigue and PEM in ME/CFS Patients via Improvement of Autophagy, 2025, Ruan et al

I think because they were doing this virtually from home and the drug was being shipped from Ageless RX. I don’t think they had a system worked out for sending placebo from Ageless RX. For a while when signing up for ageless it would ask you if you were in the trial. I tried to get rapamycin...

Trial Report Low Dose Rapamycin Alleviates Clinical Symptoms of Fatigue and PEM in ME/CFS Patients via Improvement of Autophagy, 2025, Ruan et al

Unfortunately in my ME/CFS local groups he is getting a lot of play with this video as it is in an easily digestible format, and lots of people had hope in this treatment. It’s an odd statement to make while in the same breath critiquing evidence for other hypotheses and data. Anyone know where...

Open Norway: Plasma cell aimed treatment with daratumumab in ME/CFS (ResetME) - Haukeland University Hospital

Is there a way to donate in USD? How to bring this attention to the rest of the world, would be great if they had a English version. I am keen on getting traction on this due to it possibly providing some good data for the new interferon hypothesis. I’m just not sure how to bring this up to the...

Preprint A Proposed Mechanism for ME/CFS Invoking Macrophage Fc-gamma-RI and Interferon Gamma, 2025, Edwards, Cambridge and Cliff

As someone with very little knowledge of how these things work what are next steps towards evidence gathering of this hypothesis? Paper gets peer reviewed then fully published, then other groups would be willing to test this hypothesis? Who do we support, I have been donating to OMF over the...

Preprint A Proposed Mechanism for ME/CFS Invoking Macrophage Fc-gamma-RI and Interferon Gamma, 2025, Edwards, Cambridge and Cliff

Shoot I think I meant IL-1 not 6 I was thinking more that this is an indirect way of how rapamycin might be working inside this hypothesis. Rapamycin could be lowering IL-1 to mediate interferon-gamma in the Tcell.

Preprint A Proposed Mechanism for ME/CFS Invoking Macrophage Fc-gamma-RI and Interferon Gamma, 2025, Edwards, Cambridge and Cliff

Was wondering why there are anecdotal reports of rapamycin working (and hopefully positive clinical trials) and how it would fit this model. A quick Gemini deep research shows that rapamycin could be indirectly working by inhibition of IL-6 which would stop the T-cell positive feedback loop? I...
