A nanoelectronics-blood-based diagnostic biomarker for ME/CFS (2019) Esfandyarpour, Davis et al

Stunning artwork my friend @ballard. The questions is: are they actually planing on funding future studies or are they simply taking credit but are never going to be from again?

A nanoelectronics-blood-based diagnostic biomarker for ME/CFS (2019) Esfandyarpour, Davis et al

Good job @DokaGirl for staying sharp. Still nice to see NIH taking credit for no effort. Scroll down to the botom of the page and you will understand what I meant. Or perhaps I can make it easy for you (no need to thank me I am just looking out for my fellows).

NIH: All of Us Research Program

This does not seem to be dedicated to ME/CFS patients in particular. I dont want to sound sceptical but why would I give out samples for an unknown cause? It is as bad as giving out your social security number or credit card information to strangers or signing a contract you have never read.

    Who is Simon Wessely?

I like the fact that he was the one who was asked about his opinion almost immediately after the nanoneedle, I mean is that a coincidence?

Crowfunding for a study about etiopathogenesis and try to set potential biomarkers

Hello there @Notjustfatigue. From my understanding, this study i going to be conducted in Spain, correct? I am delighted that CFS has reached the interest of a university outside of America as well as some other countries. The hypothesis states that there is a possible "alteration in the...

    Fundraising Proposition?

Well, what we can contribute with, although would not be sufficient (no once can provide millions in an instant), would still be of significance to fund whatever cheaper research there is (metabolic trap was, according to few, quite low). I have contacted OMF and it seems the idea was well...

Anyone with sudden and violent stomach cramps ?

Could be IBS? I remember acquiring that around the time I acquired the other symptoms. As a matter of fact the IBS symptoms disappeared for years and came back just recently. Still, it may be food poisoning. My proposition for you is to head to a doctor or someone who might examine you. "Better...

This Is Your Brain on Exercise

Nice. Now, how is my brain on exercise with ME/CFS?

    Fundraising Proposition?

I really meant that this community was part of my family, my apologies if anyone missunderstood that. In any case, I think your idea is great. Would you recommend a certain research? I am going to attempt to convince OMF to start a fundraisning campaign. The main thought was to start a...

    Fundraising Proposition?

The initial thought was to ask OMF regarding that question and perhaps I dont need to personally begain anything myself. I cannot, as of now, act on behalf of them but I have received request from them to start a fundraising proposition for something else (I think others at OMF have received...

    Fundraising Proposition?

Dear friends and family members. Research is moving forward in the field of ME/CFS and although much has been accomplished, it is only a fragment of what can be achieved. Many of us are eager to know more. Therefore, acceleration of researches is vital. Now, financing studies and researches...

    Who is Simon Wessely?

Indeed. As was the case with NIH´s director Francis claiming that they funded the search expedition for a biomarker

    Who is Simon Wessely?

Well said. To speak the truth, I thnik @Jonathan Edwards has a point, psychology can contribute to the illness and although I have little to back that up with, I think it is true to some extent and only applies to SOME but not all. With that said, when we acquire CFS, that stressor (whether that...

    Who is Simon Wessely?

Valid points. Indeed. I personally believe that one´s psychology CAN result in or contribute to CFS as was the case with myself. However, that does not disguise the fact that solving your psychological issues will bring you out of CFS. Depression can surely cause some major issues but I would...

    Who is Simon Wessely?

Indeed he did and although I dont deny that none of us did like it, it is not an issue of our likings but rather an issue of realization. You see, since then, many studies and researchers proved that CFS is a biological issue yet he never really did retract his claims, nooo. He had to insist on...

    Who is Simon Wessely?

You dont say. He cares to comment on recent researches, discredit them anyway he can yet offers no solution at all. Instead of coming up with problems, how about coming up with a solution (or at the very least, stay away from topics that dont concern you). And what does he know about...

    Who is Simon Wessely?

This is utter nonsense. It is absurd to suggest that psychiatry has anything to do with these unexplained symptoms. He is indirectly suggesting, in a very tricky way, that CFS are deluded or even crazy. If this was to be true (that a mans psychology can "trick" them into thinking that they have...

    Who is Simon Wessely?

His "work"? Pardon my lack of knowledge in that field but, I am not aware of any work he has done in Gulf War Syndrome. Why would he receive nobility for scientific research that, really, many others deserve more than him? This is rubbish.
