Antibody treatment approved for early administration in mild-moderate covid, days 1-5
Thank you to thread participants for this discussion here.
It is an awful mess for those of us with adverse reactions who need to decide whether to get more vaccinations. It has become more pressured in a way now that booster2 can be given after 3 months.
For me that is January 2nd although I...
I have just come across this on a fb site.
"A Bill to require the Secretary of State to establish an independent review of disablement caused by Covid-19 vaccinations and the adequacy of the compensation offered to persons so disabled; and for connected purposes."...
Thank you for this @Daisymay. I don't want to be exempt from the vaccine but do think attention should be being paid to those of us who are having severe reactions to the vaccine. I have had 3 primary vs so far causing extreme reactions.
I had hoped that fractional doses might be the way...
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/11/23/covid-vaccine-creates-t-cells-gives-better-immune-response-current/
Article is about AZ creating a new vaccine that gives a better response by focusing on the T cells.
Co- vac1 has strong phase 1 trial results.
. "The team suggested the vaccine...
@Ryan31337 . My Pf was also a "third primary" following two AZ. I suppose I will be due a booster in 6 months but at the moment I am feeling very reluctant but sitting on the fence I suppose, because I also want the protection of the vaccine.
I am hoping to discuss fractional doses with my...
I have had 2 doses of AZ and one of Pfizer and reacted to all three, but less severely to AZ2.
I would describe both AZ1 and Pf as severe but the reactions were entirely different. AZ1 was described as "almost anaphylaxis" by my GP, and I had many episodes of throat angioedema, but I found Pf...
I connected with the "yellow card" system today finally by telephone. I'll add the phone number as an edit. I really wanted to do this because I had bad reactions to both AZ (1 and2) and Pf (3). The only way forward I see for me to have any further necessary vaccines is for 1) adverse reactions...
I seemed to lose track of this thread for a while ( actually I am still sleeping a lot more than usual since Pfv3 so am not on the forum so often) but I send my good wishes to those still struggling with v side effects.
@ukxmrv I am sorry you are still so affected by your one dose of AZ but glad...

One point to pull out from this is that the NHS app is apparently not recording third vaccines.
I don't have the app but have noticed that only vs1 and 2 are recorded on my surgery...
From memory which could be entirely wrong, I think I saw her ( Lynne Turner-Stokes) name associated with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges.
eta: apologies. Just looked it up. Chair of the AMRC is Helen Stokes- Lampard. Why do they have to have such similar names?
Letter from my MP, timed 8.29 this morning.
Dear xxxxxxxx. xxxxxxx
I am sure that, like me, you have been delighted to hear that the NICE ME/CFS guidelines have been published today with Peter Barry, Consultant Clinical Advisor for NICE and chair of the guideline committee, expressly...
From SMC document
Prof Kevin McConway: “I am a Trustee of the SMC and a member of its Advisory Committee. My quote above is in my capacity as an independent professional statistician.”
edit: a surprising quote bearing in mind his position although he takes care to emphasise its independence.
