    It can be in some cases. "Scrupulosity" is the name for the religious form of OCD, and it can be absolutely devastating and debilitating for the sufferer. I know people who have suffered with this.

    I also find that anti inflammatories (medication or supplements) help - the histamine from an allergic reaction causes inflammation, which causes fatigue.

    There are also some supplements which are thought to help reduce allergic reactions.
