We are leaving our N95 masks to dry out & decontaminate naturally - ie leaving them in an open box in the garden shed for 14 days before wearing again. - Since the longest i have read of active virus being found on a surface was 9 days... I assume it is safe to re-wear after that time.
I found them the best on subs. Their stuff is picked/delivered from warehouse rather than a store so in my experience subs are rare because you can see the stock level when doing the order & this isnt in competition with shoppers in store between the time you place order & it being picked - so...
I'm wondering if they are now including pillar 2 cases in the number of confirmed infections now. It seems impossible to tell if figures released include community testing data as well - it never seems to say. Does anybody know whether the figs released by PHE are inc pillar 2 now or not...
Indeed. Also i would've thought that an infected person's hands will be covered in them so if you touch what they have touched & then rub your eyes/nose etc.....
But people with FND/Conversion (&MECFS because it's all basically the same thing right?) they don't ignore pain do they? Apparently they are all the time 'body watching' & 'focussing on their symptomatology'. They will make their ruddy minds up.
All that these contradictory results from all...
I have Howard Leight ear defenders, ear plugs, all sorts. They are all a bit helpful but all they do is muffle it & reduce the volume. Last week my neighbours were doing DIY - banging, drilling etc. With the defenders & ear plugs it's muffled, usually cutting out the high pitch sounds but...
yes i feel absolutely the same @Mithriel I'm finding it really difficult.
yes I'm afraid they will. Especially if what they're actually experiencing is a self limiting form of "regular" post viral fatigue syndrome that lasts about 6mnths or so (like after EBV) & they are doing CBT/GET at the...
who ARE these people that they interview? I never met a person with ME who catastrophises, nor any that focus on their symptoms. Everyone i know - as far as i'm aware if any of your disagree pls put me straight- but certainly for myself,, tends to ignore symptoms as much as possible. Ignore &...
oh thats interesting thanks i will try it. I think for me they are soft enough it's just the weight of it on top of my head because it's on like an inch wide point rather that spread out. LOL my head is a very odd shape -remember the film 'coneheads'? lol it's like that haha almost the same...
Just wanted to update.... I bought the Bose 700 noise cancelling headphones (top spec latest model). They were £349 but i took a punt on them because of the 90 day no quibble money back guarantee.
They are miraculous. I cant believe it, best things i ever bought. Have sold couple of other...
Wow she's a bit of a star isnt she.
troubling but indicative that i find normal human behaviour & compassion coming from a Dr to be being "a star". It says a lot doesnt it.
I find that Moss Morris talk incredibly patronising... I mean for goodness sake, i was coughing this morning, covid crossed my mind but i dismissed it. I didnt go on that cycle of getting anxious about it & focussing on it etc etc. I have never gone on that cycle over a symptom. I find it...
yeah i got a chill down my spine when i read it this morning. But of course when we try to alert them we will be seen as 'being negative', especially as some of them who no doubt do have a 'regular' post viral fatigue & would have got better in time regardless, will be 'helped' & therefore...
This is what scares me personally. If i get covid & end up getting much much worse, there will be no one knowledgeable to advocate for me, i will be one of those people left to the mercies of social services. Ending up in a home or being erroneously sectioned. It terrifies me.
