My plan was to use some of them for shepherd's pies, but I have insufficient freezer space to store them after making them. I normally use about a kilo of spuds every 3-4 weeks, but if making shepherd's pies then I can do a 2.5kg bag for the topping. I currently have a chilli in my big pan...

I disagree 3 groups Normal people - social distancing those with some preexisting conditions - defined as those who are offered a flu jab - increased risk/vulnerable - told they should not go out for 12 weeks (it was literally on all the news broadcast, a couple of week before anything other...

I am fighting a running battle with potatoes (if anyone remembers I couldn't get any for weeks, and then managed to get 2 bags, and the next delivery, ordered early as I had no idea if I would be able to order again, had potatoes in as well). The day after they went in the cupboard they had...

If it's been rolled, as in not kept top side up, then it's probably a good idea to leave it for several hours/overnight/to the turn of the century (delete depending on how bored you are and/or how big the puddle of defrosted stuff is) once it's been unpacked and is position. Leaving it to sit...

It was all over the TV for about a week. Those with some pre-existing conditions are 'vulnerable, and 'at risk' of more serious consequences requiring hospitalisation if they contact the virus, should remain inside for at least 12 weeks. How do you tell if you're one of those people? If you...

Superfood market would appear to be a company trading on both amazon and ebay. It is unlikely to be a food parcel.

Advice on mask-wearing to protect against Covid-19

If healthy people do not need to wear masks, but medics do, then logically it follows that medics must be not healthy. Otherwise it's a double standard, and I can't see the WHO doing that sort of thing, when it's their 'job' to look after health on a global basis, it's much more likely that all...

UK: REGISTER AS A VULNERABLE PERSON TO GET CORONAVIRUS SUPPORT

So the list's too big and whilst people have been told that GPs will be adding at least 600,000 more people to it the actual instructions GPs have received are focussed on taking people off the list. Helpful.

Advice on mask-wearing to protect against Covid-19

It's not contradictory at all, in at least one case. If you assume that medical staff/healthcare workers are not healthy then it's all consistent.

The problem with a lot of stuff is the tin sizes - can I really eat a 4.4kg tin of chopped ham before it goes off lol. Several things on there are quite expensive (e.g. over double amazon prices - but amazon is out of stock). They do however have rice, pasta, and corned beef (in normal sized...

I would imagine it's considerably more than a few thousand, or even tens of thousands, as at least 3 entire sections of society seem to have been omitted. The housebound and disabled (that don't meet the clinical requirements for 'extremely vulnerable)' and People aged 70 and over, who are...

My local store (Sainsburys) had slots for mid week (this week) on Sunday. I didn't need any shopping so didn't book any. My whole Tuesday theory seems to have been blown - either that or because I am on their vulnerable customer list I am no longer allowed any of the 'spare' slots they were...

I do not have a PIP award - I should have, I'm probably one of many that should have but don't. I got ^&*(ed on my DLA-PIP transfer and haven't had the heart to re-apply (having lost the appeal because I couldn't attend). I would be wary of insisting on people with a PIP award being...

This I do not know. The email I got from Sainsburys said the government had told them I was 'extremely vulnerable' but this may have just been a standard email sent to everyone on their vulnerable customer list. I have not heard from any other supermarkets saying I am on their lists, and if my...

What are you trying to log in on? As I found that on android devices I had to log out (even though on starting the app it had just logged me in) and then manually log in again, and then it would give me access to the booking system.
