I assume they made a mistake writing CFS. A news article about auto-brewery syndrome that came out today also says CFS, but I wouldn't be surprised if they used the above article as a source.
It sounds like they are using “chronic fatigue syndrome” to mean chronic fatigue since they are referring to it as a symptom and not an illness.
