https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TATSAHJKRd8 Thought this would be relevant to many ME/CFS patients. Glad this sort of stuff is getting more mainstream coverage.
The above link doesn't work for me - it looks okay until I click on it, then I'm told the video is unavailable. Hopefully this one will work : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtJvmqhZEAY
The reason the videos don't work is that they appear to be actively getting deleted, probably for copyright infringement - at least as far as I can tell.
Last Week Tonight is not available in every country. You can replace youtube in the link with tubeunblock, to see how it would be like if you could watch it. I won't link directly since obviously what I am explaining here is things that people should not do, as it would bypass lawful geographical blocks.
@rvallee I tried that website and found a working video of the bias in medicine episode, thanks. (I had actually seen it earlier today before it was deleted from Youtube.)
I watched something very similar to this a week or so ago .question is why would this be geographically locked out in the uk . is it because it embarrasses the American health system that the right wing in our country want to replace the n h s with . censorship and who is behind it is very worrying .
It only works on the official video, BTW. Others are chased down for copyright violations but the official LWT channel always posts the main segment, it's just blocked outside of the US.
Its very common to region lock video or remove clips from places due to copyright. Happens all the time, not just with things that might embarrass someone.
I'm wondering if this might be available in another week or two. It seems it's just the new content that isn't available, but the older shows can be seen on youTube.
It seems maybe they're changing things because I could watch last week's video as well and that was the first time I could. I just assumed it was an error. I can't watch this one either. Weird.
I’ve just found it on YouTube under Last Week Tonight, so official source, and was able to watch the episode ok. Shocking and recognisable.
I'm not sure what's going on here but I think in general there are different links for different locations and being locked out geographically could simply reflect something to do with their revenue stream from whoever is viewing a particular link.
