For completeness. I have no idea whether there is much of interest here.

Edited to add: It sounds like probably no one else should waste time looking at this.

I skimmed it and it fell below my low expectations.

"Fatigue" seems like a poor translation in the bible passages, where "tired" would suit those three passages much better.

I hope you did not fall with it and were skimming with a safety harness!

I was mildly disappointed that there were no biblical stories about people that possibly had ME.

We have to look to present day Norway to read about miraculous recoveries from ME.

Then there was a lot of commentary about fatigue in various illnesses and it was uninteresting.

Was wondering if Lazarus had had a pep talk from TC to help him change his unhelpful illness beliefs.

Most relatable New Testament passage for me, though am not willing to spend ££:

“She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.”
    Mark 5.26.

Woman who had haemorrhaged for 12 years.

Sadly despite the sympathy inherent in that line, do worry that so many NT stories of ‘healing’ fuel impatience with people not getting better, think is common human attitude.
