This clip is way too long for me to watch in one or two sittings. It's close to 45 minutes long. Is there any part in its timeline that stood out as troublesome?

I watched the first 10 minutes, and I saw nothing remarkable.

ETA: The theme, at least early on, seems to be that anyone diagnosed with a vague chronic condition that falls within the autoimmune spectrum would be well-served to try to delve deeper into diagnostics to see if there is an identifiable pathogen. I cannot on the surface find anything wrong with that proposal.

    There is nothing remarkable.

"Is Long-Covid stirring up other underlying chronic infections?" Dr. Hyman going to try to sell you his books by subscribing to his newsletters on 'treatment' and lifestyle changes, and how he cured himself of 'CFS' that could help LC pts.

Not what Dr. Steven Phillips, a TBD specialist was saying, and Dr. Steven Phillips and his patient - both Lyme patients at one time - were the lead for the podcast or whatever.

Perhaps it happens later in the video.

Same category as Wessely saying that "the placebo is one of the most powerful interventions we have".

The "placebo" is literally the controlling effect for nothing. It's by definition the least powerful anything because it literally means: nothing, nothing at all.

So this dude is in the same company as very eminent professor dudes, they're saying all the same things, just using slightly different words.

    Dr. Mark Hyman:

This topic is near and dear to my heart. When I was a young doctor, I suddenly got very ill with chronic fatigue syndrome. Every system in my body broke down. I couldn’t even walk up the stairs; I developed intense brain fog; and I was exhausted all the time. This is when I discovered Functional Medicine and created a plan for myself to heal my body of this debilitating syndrome.

Talking of which, would you buy a second-hand car from the man pictured?
