Every single time we deny there is a problem, we deny its not been contained and do everything far too late. Whether something turns into a big epidemic or pandemic seems mostly about transmission, we often manage to contain the low transmission stuff but otherwise around the world it will go. Then we spend the next decades denying that anything but the kill count matter and all these people with Long X are just faking it. This ride is dull its been going on for 80 years without upgrades.

I wonder how people will react if it comes to the US, now that everyone is ignoring covid, a much more transmissible disease. Will there be Ebola hysteria like last time nonetheless? It was constant coverage. Will they ignore it like covid this time around?

Redness and bleeding from the eyes, nose, mouth, and rectum. I don't think they'll sit back and call it a 'flu' on this one.

I wonder what would have happened if covid regularly produced more "cosmetic" effects.
