    Up to 10% of adult patients following COVID-19 experienced prolonged fatigue persisting beyond 6 months, meeting the definition of chronic fatigue syndrome, which is also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME). Neurological and neuropsychiatric symptoms are known in the acute phase and recovery period of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in post-viral CFS/ME.
