Ruud [surname deleted], a ME/CFS clinician-researcher who has among other things conducted 2 day CPET studies, has been accused of sexual abuse by a former patient he saw for therapy and whom he employed at the CFS/ME Medical Center in Amsterdam.
He had already been barred from the Dutch medical registry in 2011 after having a sexual relationship with a patient for 6 years before these events. He is, however, still able to work as a therapist (unlicensed title in the Netherlands) and can conduct some medical acts.
