Should Evidence-Based Medicine Be Replaced By Interpersonal Medicine? (by Harriet Hall MD)

An opinion piece in the New England Journal of Medicine complains about the limitations of evidence-based medicine (EBM) and recommends a new approach they call “interpersonal medicine.” In my opinion, good clinical medicine is already interpersonal medicine; there is no need for something new.

Someone referred to one of her CFS articles as
“a very intriguing piece of psychopathology.”

She also wrote an article about how the PACE study is crap.

 

I think this time she is right - but it is not too difficult to be right in this case.
