The invasive cardiopulmonary exercise test (iCPET) provides a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s hemodynamic, ventilatory, and gas exchange responses to exercise. The data gathered during a high-quality iCPET are helpful in both diagnosing and deeply phenotyping the conditions contributing to exercise intolerance.
