    I feel a sense of dread about another UK cover-up. There have been so many examples recently showing that the truth really doesn't seem to matter here.

    Stick with it @dave30th . I think your spellcheck must have provided the wrong word on a previous blog. It is not the culture of deference that is the problem. I t is the well established, and well known, culture of deferral or deferment.

    That is all that any British enquiry is about. Kick the can down the road. Hit the ball into the long grass. The culture even has its own official vocabulary of cliches
