Rebecca Firth spent 21 days in intensive care and almost a month on a ventilator, after suffering three cardiac arrests, sepsis and multiple organ failure as a result of coronavirus. The 42-year-old was left so weakened she needed a wheelchair to leave when she was eventually discharged from hospital.
