Paul Garner on Long Covid and ME/CFS - BMJ articles and other media.

Maybe if they start thinking instead of drawing arrows through all the organs and systems in the body they will find out it becomes harder and harder to actually make a coherent argument about a plausible disease mechanism that is not entirely superficial

Open GEM study - Prevalence of genetic diseases in ME/CFS patients, 2022, Esther Crawley, Bristol University

Well at least its not the state throwing away the money, although anything that fuels the Crawley-bus makes me sad

    News from Scotland

"The Scottish Government has said it must not wait to address the needs of the ME community, but its latest report indicates that this is precisely what it has done and continues to do." Heh, sounds like the Scottish government is exactly like every other government when it comes to ME :geek:

Off label use of Aripiprazole shows promise as a treatment for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) Crosby et al. 2021

They didnt look at very severe. I think in cyclo they looked at severe, but they did not have much effect I think. I think the other intervention were one have seen very severe report huge improvement is Lightning Process, hence why skepticism is warranted always for retrospective studies...

Off label use of Aripiprazole shows promise as a treatment for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) Crosby et al. 2021

Pardon me for interfering, but I did not get that impression from Trish at all. They are just discussing the cons of the retrospective study, which is great - thats the point of this site no?

Trisha Greenhalgh on ME/CFS and Long Covid

Direct quote: "Not doing media right now, gets me more abuse. I’ve had death threats this week. Taking a break." and I replied: "Do you have any evidence for that? Last time someone claimed this, there was none. I guess there's no point in asking anyway since ur gonna block me"

Trisha Greenhalgh on ME/CFS and Long Covid

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but she claimed to have gotten death threats, and when I asked for evidence in light of such claims lacking it in the past, she did not reply (nor block me, surprisingly)

    LSD

Has anyone here tried LSD while on ME? The reason im asking is because if that say gave huge symptom relief, it could tell us something about the involvement of neural networks in the pathophysiology. Research on LSD indicates that that the functional connections in the brain stop working as...

I wish everyone was like fluge & mella.. Letting us know their hypotheses, ,but not giving false hope. Thought they were really well behaved during the rtx trials

Hahahah! Well they did the right thing in Norway now, and understood an RCT is impossible, and made a rigged stepped wedge design study with a 6 month follow up and no objective endpoints. What can go wrong when the course holder has a gigantic economical conflict of interest, participants are...

Hes describing meeting Live Landmark and what he claims made him recover is the essence of the Lightning Process Since he is currently applying the LP method of ignoring symptoms he is currently being brainwashed and scammed. That, regardless of him potentially already being recovered due to a...
