8 days since my first Pfizer vaccine. I will sum up my experience when I feel better.
But a quick question. I have been painfully bloated... Is this a side effect others have experienced?
My area changed the mRNA vaccine dose interval from 3 to 6 weeks a few weeks back. They have now changed the interval back to 3 weeks for the high risk group (still 6 weeks for low risk). I find this confusing as the high risk individuals who have already had their first dose, will not have...
I wonder if spring/summer and time for more active allergies will have any impact on the vaccine allergy reactions? If there will be an increase in the next few months or if it is unrelated to that kind of allergies?
Side track, but the Geographical difference in preferences fascinates me. In my area one is not able to choose, and people who get Pfizer seems to act like winning the lottery.
I’m thinking the same. I have severe ME that started mild and has gotten permanently worse for every virus my body has picked up. Anything else than a permanent worsening of symptoms will be worth it for me.
Also, I can’t compare myself to healthy persons taking the vaccine. Just as I need...
I don’t have the stomach to read the full text. But I assume this was meant to be a hit against a Norwegian Professor? Not any less disgusting...
How can he think that disclosing an adult relative’s private story should be required before being able to speak publicly about something one is...

Not able to read the publication at the moment. Does it say what self-report form they have used? Never seen PEM being mentioned as a variable before. Have they made their own? Is that form public?

Pneumovax is often offered to immunocompromised. It has little...
@Jonathan Edwards A family member (not ME) was supposed to take the vaccine shortly, but her appointment has now been re-scheduled to May (6 months after last Rituxumax). I understand the concern of immunosuppressant giving lower protection, but would not even a low percentage extra protection...
I second this. I take different types of magnesium for different symptoms. Trying different brands within a type may also be relevant.
I can also feel relief from blood thinning or vasodilation, but that should be discussed with a doc.
The repeated statement without giving any sign of noticing/acknowledge the information I and others had given, felt a bit quarrelsome at the time. But I am glad the thread developed in a different direction than I felt it was headed at the moment I wrote it :)
Do you truly feel like you can talk about your illness/get as much understanding/support from your surroundlings like a friend with more known/understood illness? Do you feel like you can ask your surroundings to support ME research just as freely as a Cancer patient? MS? Lupus?
