Clinical treatment of cluster headache with [...] psilocybin and LSD and with ketamine: A case series, 2025, Leighton et al

Understand that @alktipping im lucky to not be affected by migraines or bad headaches but I know what you mean about hallucinations I had a horrific nightmare on holiday after taking an antimalarial in 1999. It was extremely frightening and I wouldn’t want to repeat that experience.

Alternative to duvet for summer months

Oh gosh it’s one I’ve had for years I got from a small shop. It probably would be a bit rough from what you say it is waffle texture. It is only a small one just covers me rather than a bedspread size. so not heavy from the volume of fabric. I would suggest maybe looking at heavier sarongs...

Thesis Investigating liminality in the lived experiences of young adults with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), 2025, Toller

I may not have this right @Utsikt but I think it is the combination of transitions, going from healthy to ill, becoming disabled by your illness, it is pretty complicated to get your head around. And timelines of things changing really quickly or taking a long time. In my case it wasn’t...

Thesis Investigating liminality in the lived experiences of young adults with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), 2025, Toller

Possibly the academic field of sociology would be drawn on by people working in Social Work and Education? I’m always in favour of communicating things in a straightforward way so the theoretical approach isn’t for me but I guess if the paper is actually making reasonable points just wrapped...

    Coping with heat

You can get quite large gel packs which take longer to defrost and to warm up. I have one about A4 size and some smaller ones and that’s what got me through our heatwaves a couple of years ago. I think even larger ones exist. Cool Pak I got the “luxury” ones that are dark blue from some kind...
