It’s very exhausting (not a metaphor) having to filter out all the harmful garbage that comes at us. Living in a world where the default is just not who we are, or can be.

I’m not yet sure whether I think she’s being exploited or she is doing the exploiting.
If the 10 treasures are so great that she wants people to know about them in case it helps someone, then she could just tweet them for free, rather than put them in a pricey book. Couldn’t she?

Interesting - I slowly tapered off day drinking as it made me incredibly drunk and insensible when I was mild, plus I’d get a hangover by tea time and need to go to bed early.
She was always going to pop up on Strictly if Sarah stayed in, because Sarah is mostly recognised from Miranda’s show. And Strictly isn’t for me but it is easily one of the most-watched tv shows in the UK.

I do now estimate my total time spent recumbent vs Sitting & standing, it’s on average 4 hours upright and the other 20 horizontal. And I’m only moderate.
If we were able to exercise without deteriorating or harm, we’d know because there would be people with MECFS in the paralympics, running the London Marathon etc. Because if you can increase your exercise you would increase back to your previous levels. Even I could do a 10k and was considering...

In life I’ve been “poisoned” by alcohol (over consumption and “dodgy” holiday drinks decanted into name brand bottles known as “petrol”) and there was once a dodgy carbon dioxide leak which made us all sleepy one...
What is interesting is that the MEA survey asked the specific question “I feel like I’ve been poisoned” it must be something that’s said frequently for them to design the survey to ask it.
Not often I agree with him, but he’s right the Covid health impact should still be a prominent conversation, rather than sort of ignoring it and hoping it will be all ok
It makes me do the face the cat does when attracted to something I’m eating, pokes head in close in the hope of a “sample”, and gets a big whiff of citrus and recoils in disgust, occasionally looking back disdainfully at me and my vile snack!
Which is pretty much what happened to me and others who did the CBTwith GET, at some point I got a bit better, then it was a steady decline into a massive crash.
