Public The cure for the flu is here

I was wondering about this - something that mitigated flu for the vulnerable could save lives.

Norway and prof. Gundersen: PACE-debate in newspaper Morgenbladet

Thank you for giving us a bit more context about Dr Gunderson @deleder2k. Welcome to the forum! I really hope this doesn't just fizzle out - Dr Gunderson has said publicly that he is willing to discuss with @Jonathan Edwards. There is a platform here. Others can join in. A discussion on the...

Norway and prof. Gundersen: PACE-debate in newspaper Morgenbladet

Yeah that was a bit.. provocative? (or something):laugh: That comment is just something to do with whether the forum is just for people who agree. I'm struggling a with words and writing today and threw it in. I've got bar soap and liquid soap - which do you suggest?

Norway and prof. Gundersen: PACE-debate in newspaper Morgenbladet

You seem to be talking much more widely than me than me - I was just talking about a BPS chap joining the forum. I agree with you on the wider front.

Norway and prof. Gundersen: PACE-debate in newspaper Morgenbladet

If Dr Gunderson were to join I think discussion could be instructive. Perhaps it might not be as shortlived as I suspect. Perhaps he might come to see things differently, perhaps not. In any case it could be a good thing showing that we welcome debate and are prepared to argue our case, and have...

Public The big fat lie: Britons eat 50% more than they say

 Ugh, don't. There's also a cheese with maggots, to be eaten when it's 'fresh' (ie when the maggots are alive) Came across that recently but can't remember where or what it was called. I don't eat dairy now and feel better for it, but do sometimes sneak about 5g (teaspoon equivalent?)...

Public The big fat lie: Britons eat 50% more than they say

You do know that's going to kill you, don't you ;) My general comment is that you can't go too far wrong if you eat a lot of vegetables, light on the carbs. I mean a lot of vegetables. That's a very cliched thing to say and of course it's oversimplistic, and allergies and sensitivities etc...

Article: DNA gets away: Scientists catch the rogue molecule that can trigger autoimmunity

I do find it interesting that things like this can be seen, but didn't see why it might be a good thing beyond 'oh wow look at that' Thanks @Jonathan Edwards and @Valentijn

Tues 20 Feb | UK parliamentary debate: PACE trial and its effect on people with ME - Carol Monaghan, MP

Except she doesn't lack the science background to read it. One day Michael Sharpe is going to patronise the wrong person.. oh wait, he already has.

Blobs vomiting... Does seeing this happen make any difference to anything at all when it was already known to happen or is this just interesting trivia?

@Sasha re: the title of this thread - should be Carol Monaghan MP (not MSP) :)

I really could have done with something like this myself this morning. A referenced briefing document ? (was trying to write an email) edit to delete TMI
