    Animal Models of ME/CFS

All this being true if i were you i would not admit to being a mouse. Ending up in a laboratory and being subjected to forced experimentation would not be pleasant.

Carol Monaghan asking for patient experiences with UK benefit assessments

There have been many stories on the forum and linked over time, if someone wants to take on making a list i'm sure it could be put to use and maybe even those involved could be asked if they want to have their irl names attached. If anyone can think of any post them to this thread, if someone...

    Animal Models of ME/CFS

Only a possibility? That would explain why your up at 3am, mice are nocturnal.

Pfizer had clues its blockbuster drug could prevent Alzheimer’s. Why didn’t it tell the world?

None of this makes any real sense. They could have extended the patent if it worked, 80 million is a lot to us but not them, the patent system is far more broken then the article would have us believe and is not the best way to to make this work. Why they did it is an unanswered question, their...

The Stanford Daily: Stanford Medicine professor (José Montoya) fired for violating University rules of conduct (june 2019)

If true (and i am inclined to believe it is) then he has harmed both his victims and his ME research (which means all of us). We cannot in good conscience prioritize our well being over assault victims. When people commit crimes they affect more then themselves, it causes ripples. And everyone...

The science of craniocervical instability and other spinal issues and their possible connection with ME/CFS - discussion thread

Two thoughts: Ideas come along. If they go viral they meant something. That certainly does not always mean good (XMRV, fats causing heart disease, ME is psychosomatic, MS is hysterical paralysis, Narcolepsy is repressed memories, the list goes on of bad conclusions) but if we want no ideas then...

Questions for the CureME/UK ME/CFS Biobank team, what do you want to ask? [June 2019 Q&A]

If there is DNA testing being done is it on the entire genome or only a section? A rhetorical question How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

    Relief - how temporary ?

I know what you mean here In my case it was no remission but it was like taking a stimulant while overtired, i felt better then expected and wanted to believe i was doing better.

    Relief - how temporary ?

I used to get this now and then when i was moderate, its a false high. I would suggest very carefully staying in your limits but getting things done that you can't do assuming it will fall again. If it doesn't then you have not lost much but if it does hopefully you extended your functioning a...

Biomedical articles on MEpedia - purposes and pitfalls

I think i have explained my position quite well throughout this thread.

The science of craniocervical instability and other spinal issues and their possible connection with ME/CFS - discussion thread

If i understand correctly multiple patients have improved with this surgery, while no one was cured of XMRV. I would call that a big difference.
