Summary other tweets from the morning session. Unfortunately, I only tweeted Elizabeth Unger’s presentation. Nothing very new from the session.

I ran out of puff after the morning, so didn’t see any of the presentations in the afternoon. Jarred Younger’s presentation was definitely the most interesting of the morning. He’s super excited about this new study!

CDC Treatment Evidence Review - consultation period

Thanks for sharing our submission. Unfortunately, we’ve had to resubmit because the references somehow disappeared when the document was formatted and I didn’t notice. *sigh* Hopefully the corrected document will be uploaded soon.

    News from Australia

Thanks, Hutan. Mary-Louise is very well respected here, though I’ve not heard her mention long-COVID much. There is some longitudinal research on COVID patients at UNSW, led by Greg Dore, but I’m not sure if she’s involved in that.

    Europe: EUROMENE

Merged thread I’m hoping that someone from Europe could clarify something for this ignorant Aussie trying to get a better grasp on the European landscape. What is the difference between EUROMENE and EMERG? Are they just two separate groups focussing on similar things? Are there differences I’m...

Spironolactone as a treatment for CFS in patients with positive Epstein Barr virus serology, 2020, Campo and Taylor

I was aware of it. I was sent the abstract in June. I don’t know anything about their method, but I agree with the concerns raised here.
