Her profile links to https://www.pandata.org, which has the heading "The Ugly Truth About The Covid-19 Lockdowns".
I suspect that part of her motivation may be in minimizing the potential harms from COVID in order to promote her viewpoint.
(I am in fact very sympathetic towards wanting to...
Yes. Just like ME has been conflated with non-ME fatigue, they are going to conflate long COVID with "lockdown burnout" or whatever you want to call it.
More transparency would go a long way.
I really do appreciate Ron's video updates, it is clear that he is trying to keep us in the loop. It seems like a lot falls on him personally.
Interesting, thanks for posting.
I’m sure someone will pick out all the details.
The thing that struck me post is that the study was conducted 5 years ago.
It actually looks quite rigorous in design, especially compared to some of the junk that gets published.
They used Fukuda...
I am pretty sure this is intended to refer to benefits to a specific person, not to society at large. (And making some assumptions knowing that SNT is a medical professional.)
Which is objectively true, as there is no way to know each individual person's circumstances that might influence their...
They are forcing people with ME/CFS to risk sacrificing their health even further, all for the "greater good."
I know that a survey isn't a reliable source for adverse reactions, but at the very least, they should wait until more studies are done before forcing vaccines on an already-vulnerable...

Also, 3 points on the PROMIS score... is this the scale that goes from 0-40?
I don't even know why I am commenting...
Glad to see progress being made, even if it's very incremental.
I feel like I need an thread in the "emotional support" category for all these updates...
Back to the article... I think it was good. I'm not going to nitpick it, and I think there are some really good key quotes from Cavendish that show an insight that many others have failed to gain, such as:
I wonder who/where he was getting medical advice from, and what they recommended to...
What are the advisories that have been put in place?
Obviously one must weigh the risk/benefit of the vaccine according to their own circumstances, but I would understand any pwME refusing it based on the large % of respondents who report a permanent worsening of symptoms.
One doctor I saw wanted me to get a punch biopsy as a sort of “lottery ticket” to qualify me for insurance-covered IVIG. It had nothing to do with actually having SFN or not.
I’ve seen some screenshots from a Facebook group that made me pretty upset. (I won’t share them here because I’m unsure if they were allowed to be reposted in the first place.)
it appears that there are clinics offering this apheresis as a part of a complete “protocol”, and that patients are...
