On their whole genome sequencing service, Dante labs says gVCF and BAM are formats. This doesn't match what you said you were given.

You need to know the format of the data that you have. This is not necessarily the same thing as the file type. Once you know the format, you can check whether the interpretation program supports it, and if not, either find a way to convert to the right format or find a different interpretation...

The CPET isn't substantially less good, on average at least. If someone exercises for two hours, then perhaps yes. The typical CPET takes 2-15 minutes.
