PLease let us know the date of this interview. Thanks

You are correct Stuart. Remember JFKennedy; he set a time line for getting to the moon. He set a time line and it was adhered to. To some extent this has been done with AIDS too, but here there is no time line set, and this monstrous disease needs one. Otherwise, the researchers are just...

We are also "screwed" if folks keep saying 'fatigue.' Fatigue arises only after the body has been tormented with an array of intolerable symptoms: flu feeling, toxic feeling, sick feeling, poisoned feeling, sense of dying feeling, weakness, inability to stand or walk, and the indescribable PEM...

Yes, Debored, yes. What should be done? This "current pace" is destroying the hope of many young people. Every one has a different theory. Where can you get with that? But if things continue as they are now, it will be 60 years and more before anything happens. I too am not critical of anyone...

He also thinks there will be treatments perhaps in 3 or more years; no talk of a cure at all; the radio programme on CBC can be found; it was utterly discouraging; he talked of fatigue as the core of this illness; I actually called the station and told them to tell the host to stop talking of...

yes, 5 subsets with more than one condition each; spectrum illnesses--whatever that means; he says these subsets will help identify which repurposed drugs will be best; and please note--no one knows what the heck is going on with this illness. This is utterly unacceptable, though I am told...

3rd Annual Community Symposium on the Molecular Basis of ME/CFS at Stanford University, sponsored by OMF, 7th Sept 2019

I am not terribly optimistic; I heard Dr Moreau in Montreal on a radio programme; he believes this is spectrum condition, with many conditions/or several all co-existing. This is hardly encouraging.

Isn't this a bit bizarre? Certainly reduced REM sleep will cause issues, but generating PEM from say brushing your teeth?? Has he done sleep tests? This is a bit strange is it not?? My daughter went to a sleep lab. She had shortened REM and lots of micro second wakings. But at that time she did...

Is ME a metabolic problem or a signalling problem?

And is there anyone working on this?

Canadian Federal Health Minister to make announcement regarding ME, August 22

Yes, Milo, I hear what you are saying very well. Many folks with ME have severe GI problems which lead to days upon days of pain. Many are so sick with the toxic sick feeling that they are in agony from it and find it hard to sustain. Some have fibromyalgia pains in addition. The thing I also...

Canadian Federal Health Minister to make announcement regarding ME, August 22

Thanks, real thanks, are due to all those here (and elsewhere) who worked so hard, so tirelessly, so passionately, to get the govt of Canada to move on this. The day of or the next day, Dr Moreau was on a call-in English language CBC show in Montreal which starts at 12 noon. I must say I was...

Is ME a metabolic problem or a signalling problem?

My daughter had a minor surgery, it became infected, the hospital gave her several IV antibiotics, and she picked up Clostrium difficile in the hospital (our Canadian hospitals had thousands of deaths from this--and simple bleach kills the bug, but the cleaning here is slovenly), and after 4...

Dear Helen Wonderful news you recount. My daughter did not have this luck as I wrote above; she reacted poorly to the medication, and it did not prevent 'crashes.' Bravo for you folks!

Dear Mij Some folks don't have an energy envelope; they are bed bound, and becoming worse.

Dear Keela, your improvement is really stunning, you know. Why did the doctor give you this drug? What was the thinking? Thank you.

Just a digression, but has anyone here been helped by the Perrin technique? What is the general opinion of this approach? Thanks.

The Canadian Chronic Pain Task force report

Yes, Doka, yes. I will now post what JFK said, and the time line he made. =================== I therefore ask the Congress, above and beyond the increases I have earlier requested for space activities, to provide the funds which are needed to meet the following national goals: First, I believe...

JAMA -"Advances in understanding the Pathophysiology of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" by Anthony Komaroff

Willow, what a voice of reason you are; you are making my day. Why has this not been thought of before. I am rather over satiated with conferences reporting there is this and this and this and that, and somehow nothing is pointing to the cause of this illness or at least to some reasonable way...
