Yes, it is a possibility. I would only try a place that has been tried and tested profusely by other ME patients though, to lessen the risk.
I also know someone from another country who has offered to get it for me and ship it to me.
I’ve tried every kind of doctor around here and they’re all useless and either want to cure my traumas or get rid of me in some way. So no more.
I will probably try it from a foreign pharmacy that doesn’t need a prescription. Thanks for the suggestion though, it would be nice if we had those...
LDN has been said to help some of us. Nobody will prescribe it to me. They’re all afraid of what the doctor’s association will do to them if they find out.
For those interested, Action CIND is hosting a free seminar with Dr Alain Moreau, an ME researcher from Ste-Justine Hospital, in Quebec, Canada. Dr Moreau is also working with OMF...
Ha Ha Ha ! We’re on the same boat, Wonko. I thought it looked interesting so I posted it. I’ve never read any article being so concrete about groups and testing to find diagnosis.
I apologize if it has been posted before. I just read this on Facebook and was wondering if it’s a serious source and if we should get our diagnosis confirmed as suggested ? Or is it too soon?

Always glad to help with any ME study I can get into ! -)
The sleep problems were probably a mix of tired but wired and insomnia, my usual sleeping problems. Sleepiness happens to me sometimes, but it’s not frequent.
The 2-day CPET test is definitely very, very hard for us, and I would even...
I am part of this study. I had the cuff test done but I don’t clearly remember my answers to the afterwards questionnaire. I remember I had fatigue from the test, maybe more difficulty sleeping. But nothing even remotely as bad as the 2-day CPET test (I crashed for 3 weeks).
There is part II...
@arewenearlythereyet thank you, I appreciate the feedback and understanding. Weighing the pros and cons is a good way to go.
@andypants do you have the model of your bike so I can look it up online ? What’s the autonomy and is the seat comfortable ?
@Mithriel yeah, I know what you mean, I...
It’s hard to explain but I feel like I’m not « ill enough » to deserve sympathy because I can still walk. I am afraid of people judging me because they will see me and think I am lazy or faking it.
I still have trouble parking in a handicapped parking spot. I look around and hope nobody is...
Wow, so much great information, thank you for all your replies ! I wanted to reply with multi-quote with sections of everyone’s comments but I guess I don’t know how, it didn’t work... :-(
I am (sort of) happy to see that it’s not just me, it seems really difficult to predict when we can...
@Wonko there is a lot of valuable input in your post. That’s exactly what I was hoping for, meaning honest life experience. Thank you. I agree about the supermarket trolley, I always use one and lean on it. I put my handbag in it, it’s too heavy for me to carry. I never use baskets, way too...
For the past months, my condition has deteriorated. And for the past 3-4 weeks, I don’t know what I can and can’t do anymore. I have no way of knowing what I am capable of doing for a specific day.
For example, I think I’m well enough and decide to go run an errand (by car). Stores are only...
