I made the post to highlight the amendments to the bill will include paid carers, unpaid carers and neighbours. This will mean that abuse from a paid carer would become a well defined criminal offence, which may deter 'casual abuse' from those who think their behaviour is acceptable.

Surely if the professionals had taken the correct approach to individual patients who engaged in verbal abuse, by responding in a manner that de-escalates and diffuses potential conflict (as their medical training should have taught them to do), then patients such as the one in this twitter...
Have you tried emailing your CCG about this? Maybe their complaints email. Technically it is NHS England responsible for GPs (as well as the vaccination programme overall), so maybe an email to their complaints team too? This does seem to be happening across the country.

The HCPs are aessssed by their supervisor (and employer). They get disciplined if they make too many awards to claimants. If they allow more awards than 'the average', all their reports are reviewed and outcomes adjusted.

From what my daughter told me, having the Covid vaccine at a GP hub currently can entail up to a hour of waiting around and there are a lot of people hanging around in the waiting room (obviously not everyone has a car). This is something people with ME need to consider.
If Strain is involved with the Devon CFS clinic (RD&E) it will be an interesting test case to see how quickly and in what way the service changes when the new NICE guidelines are published. They currently say they base their approach on the 2007 CFS/ME guidelines. They seem to be one of the few...
