    Exosomes

Cipro info is interesting. Cipro is reported to cause cfs or cfs like syndromes. On the other hand someone on here reports that they improve on one of the flox antibiotics (levaquin). So maybe the levaquin results in a shift of the production of exomes to ones that are bad albeit less bad than...

Update from Ron Davis April 2019 Interview with BenH

@Cinders66 I think this is an important point and is confusing. Earlier Phair has stated on PR that he doesn’t think energy production is a thing in ME/CFS.

NIH: Accelerating Research on ME/CFS meeting, 4th and 5th April 2019

The word "Neuroinflammation" has been used in about half the talks so far and will be used again extensively tomorrow. I know @Jonathan Edwards has said there is no evidence of NI in CFS, only microglial activation. Should speakers be asked to define NI? Advice @JaimeS ? If there is no NI...

Data/info request from Robert Phair for Relapse/Remit people

https://forums.phoenixrising.me/threads/the-ido-metabolic-trap-guy.62727/page-11 "I need to know, from relapsing-remitting CFS patients, whether the cycle of relapse and remission is regular or variable. In other words, if you measure the time from one remission to the next remission, or from...

How Might Benzodiapines (Ativan, Clonazapem) help with ME/CFS?

@JaimeS Thanks. I thought Ron Davis was a proponent of rapid data sharing in lieu of/in addition to normal publication.... Therefore it would be really great if the nanoneedle data could be shared on their web site..... [Sorry for off-topic]

How Might Benzodiapines (Ativan, Clonazapem) help with ME/CFS?

@JaimeS Was lorazapam (ativan) the only benzo that improved the blood of PWMECFS using the nanoneedle? Were all (major) benzo's tested? If many benzos were tested and only lorazapam worked, do they have any idea why this might be the case? Thanks.

Jin’s three-needle acupuncture technique for chronic fatigue syndrome: a study protocol for a multicentre, randomized, controlled trial (2019)

This is a journal for people to publish their experimental design with no result data? Strange. This should be the methods section of their results paper. But the real problem here is lack of comparison—they should compare Jin’s three needle technique with Chen’s four needle technique and most...

Open Chronic fatigue syndrome participants wanted for aquatic exercise trial Published 22 February 2019

Can’t some of these ME action groups write a letter indicating that aquatic excercise trials are not seen as a priority research need for pwmecfs? I’ll sign it.

    News from Scandinavia

Hello Scandinavians (particularly Norwegians), Have you heard anything about the publication of the F & M Cyclophosphamide study? Seems to be taking a while. Also do you think it might be possible for someone to contact Haukeland to find out what happened to the ME/CFS patients who were not in...

Trial of CT38 for ME/CFS by Cortene Inc.: big claims being made...

"I have been dying to write here and tell you all how I am doing, but alas I am still not allowed." Do you think she would be dying to tell us how she is doing if she had no effect from the treatment..hmmmmmm

The antiviral drug ganciclovir does not inhibit microglial proliferation and activation (2015) Skripuletz, et al.

Also, FYI pwmecfs are the only ones who report the super wired feeling from antivirals. It is not reported at all as a side effect for normals (lots of side effect data for valtrex as it is widely prescribed). Here is Nauviaux on a proposed mechanism for antivirals in me/cfs...
