Don't merge the assessments for PIP and ESA - April 2019

Initially I thought the same except based my thinking on a positive outcome (ie having 'passed' the test on one you don't need to worry about the other). But the petition points out So they would have to somehow change the assessment to cover both issues, quite how I don't know but both...

"Answer to IBS is in the mind" - media coverage of new Chalder/Moss-Morris trial

I imagine if the NHS invested in more properly trained dieticians/nutritionists who were well informed about a variety of illnesses it would be a lot more helpful and produce longer term benefits than CBT therapists. This could be for people with diabetes to celiacs or those with lactose...

Don't merge the assessments for PIP and ESA - April 2019

UK Gov petition (ie at 10,000 Govt will respond) currently 3567 signatures (my addition: if you fail on the one test but were previously in receipt of both benefits, you would effectively be left with nothing, pending appeal.) link here: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/244329

Petition, change.org: Define "Melvin Ramsay's Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.)" as own distinct disease from CFS

I've read some of the comments of people who signed. I really doubt they have read all the stuff the petitioner has posted and are largely signing because they don't like the fact that ME gets 'clubbed in' with 'chronic fatigue'; unfortunately that is not what the petition is about (as far as I...

UK NICE - Projects to support the development of the NICE guideline on ME/CFS: diagnosis and management

typical of any state organisation tho; you want something, they take as long as they want, they want something, it has to be all tickety-boo and done yesterday. The CBT/GET survey also had a very short time to be completed.......... one might think they were setting things up to fail(?)
