    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

Day 7: Side-effects seem gone. ME was noticeably worse for duration, mainly days 4-6, but have had a big improvement overnight on those symptoms (mostly back to my 'normal'). Hopefully that's the worst of it over, and the second jab will be less fuss. :emoji_fingers_crossed:

    Actimetry Studies

Fair point, @Invisible Woman. There will be some who cannot wear them, or not all the time.

    Actimetry Studies

Two per patient. One each on the dominant arm (wrist) and leg (ankle). (Would be interesting to have four, one for each limb. Look at lateral dynamics too. A possible point of difference from healthy controls.) Long term. Minimum one month, but longer is better. I see no practical reason why...

    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

Two days on and arm still slightly sore, plus had some headaches, and generally more lethargic and sub-par than usual. But nothing serious. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen for the headaches, and extra time on the day bed, seems to be working out okay. Did stock the fridge with plenty of easy food...

Advice on mask-wearing to protect against Covid-19

Basic masks should have been a no-brainer on precautionary & historical grounds alone. They are very low cost, easy to make and distribute, involve zero medical risk, have high plausibility, and the potential benefits are huge. Even if they only reduced transmission by say 20% that is still a...

    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

Had my first yesterday, got the AZ. No obvious problems so far, apart from a very slightly sore upper arm and shoulder. Did discover something interesting in the official notes they gave me: the clotting problem with the AZ only occurs with the first shot, there are no cases of people getting...
