I don't think this tells us anything we didn't know already, but it's nice to see the Ioannidis paper quoted, and also a lot more papers on how bad research papers can be. Not had time to look into them yet, plus prob won't in a timely manner as have to try travel home tomorrow. Any one else up...
Actually I'm surprised it's as cheap as £7000.
Cost of copies of all evidence for DWP, 3 Tribunal Members, Claimant and (if they have one) Claimant's advocate. My full bundle was something like 240 pages I think. Any new evidence (I took colour prints of photos of ramp outside our caravan as...
Just went and checked again, and another 93 responses have been added since yesterday, including mine :) (currently page 10 though that may change), November 10, 2017 at 12:55 PM. So it might be worth you re-checking @It's M.E. Linda? Good on you for emailing them though - I wasn't sure I'd...
I read somewhere (very sorry, I can't remember where  ) that it costs £7,000 for a Tribunal. That cost should be paid by the assessment company for every one that the claimant "wins". That way they might be more inclined to get it right first time!
ATOS has changed its name. It's now...
I looked for mine just now. Not there. But despite it closing on 10th, there are posts dated 11th, 12th and 13th. I spent a whole morning on my submission. When I copied it in it wouldn't all fit, so I cut it by half before posting (I do wish they had mentioned there was a space limit...
I finally got my submission in today. Husband caught a gruesome cold from Grandkids, :( and managed to pass it on to me now we're in Wales. :arghh: I've spent most of the last few days awake all night  and asleep all day. I spent ages this morning doing a detailed post to...
@JCB you really don't have to write a lot. Some submissions are only 3 or 4 lines. Some are essay length. I've been reading bits out to and ranting about lots of them to my poor long suffering husband!
I do know what you mean about even thinking about it brings back the stress of it all. It...
That's fantabulous! :)
Why not ask her what she thinks about the above paper on social sculpture? Psychotherapy isn't at all like "social sculpture" - she'd probably be horrified by it. But don't feel you have to of course. :)
Thanks for this reminder @Andy! I've been reading the submissions thus far over the last few days - mostly they are absolutely horrifying. Seem particularly so for Autism Spectrum Disorders, including Aspergers. From what I recall there aren't that many for ME/CFS yet. A few for Fibro, but...
Not to mention the money spending rankings :banghead: and rubbish PhD rankings :speechless: so idiots like this can call themselves "Doctor". Socktor more like! ;)
I'm guessing they might be My Little Ponies? ;)
Though they look less like ponies now than they did when my girls had them back in the 80s! This looks more like a deer that has sprouted a mane. :arghh:
From this enterovirus? Or similar symptoms or problems? If so, maybe your local health authority should be alerted? Sorry for such poor reply, very tired tonight after long (for me) journey yesterday. ProMED mail is a recognised authority I believe, so share that mail if you need too. Best wishes.
Opened up my email this morning to find this article, seems to show some similarities to the more severe forms of ME. Shame health authorities don't treat ME as seriously as this.
I obtained permission to copy ProMED posts to other Lists and websites many years ago. Just so you know that...
