Nobody is saying that actimetry is the gold standard, or the only measure to use, just that it gives an important part of the picture. The key point about it is that the data it does collect is objective. How to interpret that data is a different question.

Day 7: Side-effects seem gone. ME was noticeably worse for duration, mainly days 4-6, but have had a big improvement overnight on those symptoms (mostly back to my 'normal').
Hopefully that's the worst of it over, and the second jab will be less fuss. :emoji_fingers_crossed:
Two per patient. One each on the dominant arm (wrist) and leg (ankle). (Would be interesting to have four, one for each limb. Look at lateral dynamics too. A possible point of difference from healthy controls.)
Long term. Minimum one month, but longer is better. I see no practical reason why...

Forgot to mention that I did get a touch of vertigo in the first 36 hours or so, but only minor and temporary, and could have just been...
Two days on and arm still slightly sore, plus had some headaches, and generally more lethargic and sub-par than usual. But nothing serious. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen for the headaches, and extra time on the day bed, seems to be working out okay.
Did stock the fridge with plenty of easy food...
