Adding to @Ravn's post above on the TVNZ piece. Super impressed not even one ‘chronic fatigue’. Like wow.
mins.
Here it is on youtube, hopefully you can all see it. Don’t suppose youtube vids are geo-blocked but I’m a total Luddite so wouldn’t have a clue!
Edited to add, have not read the...
Hi Peter,
You mentioned that you had not seen data on death rates for fully vaccinated people with the Delta variant. I wonder if you've seen this. It's a Public Health England report with some data on deaths due to delta variant and compared vaccinated vs unvaccinated via age group...
Yes, I totally agree. Clearly I am not a Kiwi (not knowing who this famous sporty man is and perhaps even, the sin of not even holding so much as a momentary interest in any sport from any country, ever) However, I find myself domiciled in New Zealand currently as is evident, so I have no idea...
Thank you @Hutan for your synopsis of “The Check Up” program that aired tonight on TV in New Zealand. I very much agree with all of what you said. I am however, going to break my “lurker/but like posts” mode tonight to add a few of my favourite sound bites transcribed from the OnDemand...
In other news, a Dr who shall remain nameless examines a patient who shall also remain nameless, whereupon the Dr observes a great big dirty malignant tumour, that in all likelihood signals very grave news indeed. The Dr remarks that although he can confirm there is a life threatening tumour in...

So far so good. I fit neatly into the ICC ME...
This from 2017. It is a thorough investigation into the SMC, it's background and operation with a focus on examples of its bias. Includes some interesting quotes and links to other pieces.

I saw this also on twitter this morning and was completely shocked. Even if it doesn’t turn out to be true, the wider story of how society has been encouraged to think of benefits claimants as scroungers and people claiming government money for disability as fraudsters is still a very serious...
My understanding is that epidemiology studies into ME/CFS are not where they should be and consequently very little can be said for certain. In my own case, I have never been bedbound but have been mostly housebound for years. My life is very limited yet I consider myself ‘moderate’ even though...
Fair enough but for me it's just another (well meaning) version of the CFS is real after all meme.
Edit: I'll add that I don't think mentioning that 25% are too ill to ever leave bed is 'fine detail'.
What @MsUnderstood said!
If I wasn't so very 'fatigued' and 'foggy' I might elaborate (heavy sarcasm). OK, since I'm posting I'll say this...25% of us are too 'fatigued' to go grocery shopping, attend school events or even prepare a meal (such as the examples provided in the article) any time...
