This is an interesting case study (bolding and spacing added);

A case of pseudo-carcinoid

It doesn't say if his pain and diarrhea resolved when he stopped the 5HTP though, but it's a reminder of how supplements can affect test results, and possibly make symptoms worse.
Thanks, @Lisa108, but I can't get the link to work for me.
I'm interested in this case report because I have been looking into carcinoid tumors.

Interesting case report of an ME/CFS patient with carcinoid tumors.

I came across this recently;

This is their ME/CFS page. I've only skimmed it briefly as it's very long. Mentions GET, and personality stuff, which persuaded me not to waste spoons reading further...
@Trish, I read the title of the thread and thought the author was boasting about how well patients are responding to her version of CBT...
Look at me, look at me!
They respond so well to my CBT!
I couldn't find this posted. Not sure if here is the best place to put it?
It says you can read it for free but sign in is required.

That link I posted now refers to a November conference.
One of the speakers is neurologist, Professor Mark Edwards. His presentation is called;

Why would anyone smoke lead? Is that a thing?
This is not a question I'm actually asking. It's just the first question I asked myself when I read that sentence.
I think I need a nap...:oops:
I haven't read past the abstract, but it looks interesting.

I was looking at some MUS papers a while back and noticed that quite a few authors were from NZ, mostly from the psych department at AUT. They seem to collaborate a lot with Kings College.

The lead author of the above study is developing an app specifically for New Zealanders;
