Question: Coronavirus & home sewn masks?

I have used the free pattern of https://diymask.site/ for women and men. They are very similar to the pattern Keela Too is using and fit astonishing well. Besides the description there is also a video showing how to sew them.

Domestic abuse survivors twice at risk of long-term illnesses

Jen Brea: My ME is in remission

Regarding age, Milo, you may be right. I know several people with POTS or ME with POTS, which had the onset after head/neck accidents, neck treatment, OP with awkward head positioning and this happened in all age groups.

Jen Brea: My ME is in remission

Hi Milo For example whiplash after accidents is more common in women compared to men. And it is known (only now?) that the female neck is less stable and less resistant to brute force - in addition until recently cars were crash testet only with a male dummy or a skaled down one. The argument...

Phase III Rituximab Trial - News

I do not know if what Dr. Scheibenbogen said is the truth or a misunderstanding. It is just what she said in a recorded video talk and probably the source of the rumor. I have seen this video yesterday for the first time. As long as I know it is not on YouTube or something similar.

Phase III Rituximab Trial - News

I saw now the reason for it. Dr. Scheibenbogen said in a video taped talk last summer, the dosing of Rituximab had to be halved compared to the more success trial, due to financial reasons.

Home-based family focused rehabilitation for adolescents with severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, 2018, Burgess et al (inc Chalder)

From the study... „It is important to note that change was not linear. Individual change over time was varied, with some individuals’ fatigue levels increasing. Improvements in physical functioning and social adjustment did not necessarily match changes in fatigue. This supports previous...

Phase III Rituximab Trial - News

Hi, I heard a rumor, that the Rituximab trial failed only because they run out of money. So they had to cut the planned doses in half and this is responsible for the 0 effect if compared to the placebo group. Is there any sound base to this? I apologize, if this topic was already covered.

Michael Sharpe skewered by @JohntheJack on Twitter

There is absolutely no doubt about the fact, that in the study CBT or GET had been not beneficial. I definitely don’t like the direction the twitter discussion took. There was a mixture of different patients types, but in PACE actually CBT or GET was not even helpful for any kind of...

Boom & Bust, where's the evidence?

My daughter does not have ME, but POTS. When the symptoms showed their ugly heads, she got told it is just some OI, pretty normal in adolescent females and the remedy would be sports. She was still very active, pretty fit compared to the average adolescent female, and tried hard to keep up her...

New German guideline for ME published today

Yes they will and they will write a formal complain to AWMV. DEGAM did not put any statement (besides the wrong agreement) from Lost Voices Stiftung in the report neither, which is very strange. Regarding Selbsthilfegruppen, Degam vilifies them, how it worked so amzingly in the UK: Page 71...
