Monitoring app - Visible - a platform "designed for any invisible illness that benefits from resting and pacing - including ME/CFS & Long Covid."

Sorry I wasn't clear. What I said was just paraphrased from the very short message on the app. There is a longer message from Harry at visible on Reddit which I hope you can see ok. It's a pretty good mea culpa. https://www.reddit.com/r/cfs/s/o8G9xOhcHM (Edited for spelling)

    DecodeME in the media

Re the C4 piece: There is also the discussion afterwards which is well worth watching, good points made by Teresa Munt MP. She mentioned that the Delivery Plan was a flop. People with M.E. desperate to lead a normal life. Decades of being treated poorly. People living in darkened rooms. People...

Monitoring app - Visible - a platform "designed for any invisible illness that benefits from resting and pacing - including ME/CFS & Long Covid."

I've been using Visible with the armband for over a year now. It's a shame that the free version and the armband version aren't differentiated better because i think that people are comparing apples and oranges. The free version can be helpful for recording symptoms, but I think the morning...

AI resources related to research or healthcare

Thanks for suggesting using Notebook LM podcast feature to access research studies. I've found that particular feature very useful for other things, but hadn't thought of using it on research papers. I've found Gemini very useful when writing letters etc, I can put in a rough paragraph and it...

Jeremy Jeffs - ME/CFS photography projects

Jeremy was very calm and patient when photographing. He moved carefully and deliberately. He talked as much as I wanted to and was happy with silence when my stamina deserted me. Jeremy has travelled many miles round the country putting this together. The result is a clear narrative. Well done...

United Kingdom - Suffolk and North East Essex ME/CFS services

Interesting discussion. Excellent points about how services are designed especially @Haveyoutriedyoga .Thank you. A barrier to service development generally is that provider information is commercially sensitive, this inhibits open discussion about proposals for the new service. Another barrier...

Monitoring app - Visible - a platform "designed for any invisible illness that benefits from resting and pacing - including ME/CFS & Long Covid."

@SteveFifield I don't know if you saw this in the Visible app but there is a bit more information on the impact and intensity of tagged activities. On the HR graph screen tap Activity Insights and you can toggle between Impact / Intensity of tagged activities. If you tap the information ℹ️ at...

Monitoring app - Visible - a platform "designed for any invisible illness that benefits from resting and pacing - including ME/CFS & Long Covid."

From a personal perspective I really like Visible. The free version is of limited use as it is just a snapshot at one point in time in the day. But the last couple of weeks I've had the upgraded version with the polar armband. I've been pacing with a Garmin for years, and have a good idea of...

Using Heart rate monitoring to help with pacing.

In our HRM pacing FB group PwME & LC tend to use 220 - age x 55% or 50% for the more severely affected. But also RHR plus 10 - 15. It's very helpful to keep brief records of physical, cognitive, social and emotional activity, along with any stressors such as allergies, sensitivities, hormonal...

    Action For ME Healthcare Services

The invoices seem to be sent on a monthly cycle, so you might get it quickly (or not) depending on the date of your appointment. Sorry not to be clear, I meant AfME are slow to respond to messages and to send out reports. It's such a shame as the MET were great, and they have been swallowed up...
