    CAR-T therapy

Could they cure allergies with this? Aren't they also caused by "rogue immune cells"? (Sorry if this is a dumb question)

    News from Germany

Why are they still so hellbent on pushing an exertion-based therapy model onto patients that are barely able to reach appointments, let alone use shared bedrooms, without pushing their limits? The best place to 'learn' pacing (i.e. to not push your boundaries) is in the confort of your own...

BPS attempts at psychologizing Long Covid

Maybe we could get Piers Morgan to set him straight  "Look Tucker, if this didn't happen to me, I would believe the same thing..." From Wikipedia: "In April 2020, Carlson's program surpassed Hannity as the highest-rated primetime cable news show, with an average audience of 4.56 million...

    ME/CFS Doctors in Germany

Thought I'd share my experience at the Charite Berlin here: To be quite honest, my visit to there was a bit disappointing. I know they are painfully underfunded so I don't blame them for having nothing more than two borrowed rooms from the tropical institute (luckily the kind nurse/secretary...

    Brain fog, cognitive dysfunction

If not for this overlap in terminology between mental and physical illnesses, these people would have nothing to base their mind-body crap on. Brain fog and fatigue carry an entire different meaning for a depressed person vs someone with ME but we simply have no other words to express ourselves...

    News from Germany

I'm not really into politics- is there reason to hope for an Improvement of the situation for PwME here in germany from the new coalition? The former health minister jens spahn never acknowledged our existence, so it can only get better I presume.

Frequent IgG subclass and mannose binding lectin deficiency in patients with CFS, 2015, Guenther, Scheibenbogen et al

I got an appointment back in july even though I said on the questionnaire that I'm not more susceptible to infections. Also, I didnt mention having a viral onsent only that it was an infectious one. Could be that they only changed it recently to include more subtypes, who knows.
