Covid causes more T cell death than HIV. In HIV it leads to a progressively weak immune system (AIDS). AJ's tweet from 2020 asserts that Covid makes herd immunity impossible because it kills the immune cells responsible for adaptive immunity & safe regulation of T cell death.
